Fjord-O attracting the world’s
best orienteers
- It is not many competitions in relevant terrain to use as preparations for the World Orienteering Championships in Trondheim, Thierry Gueorgiou says. - Therefore, I will probably take part in Fjord-O.
One week before the start of EOC, Fjord-O visited Gueorgiou, Philippe Adamski and Thibaut Magne in their home city in France, Saint-Étienne, for one of their last hard training sessions before EOC. A 5.4 km middle distance course in a terrain relevant for the EOC was on the program. As normal Thierry Gueorgiou was the best, with the time of 25 minutes.
