Trofeo Costa Blanca Exciting world elite season opening at the Trofeo Costa Blanca. Club Orientación Sant Joan is staging an exciting world elite season opening at the World Ranking Event, Trofeo Costa Blanca close to Alicante, Spain on the 14ht of February. The 20 man strong red start group of the Mens Elite features national team runners from 9 different countries and is headed by current World Ranking number 1 Daniel Hubmann. Hungry runners Many eager and competition hungry runners will be out to contend the reign of Daniel Hubmann and as always at the season opening it will be interesting to get the first indications of how the worlds elite have been tending their winter training. It will also be exciting to see how local favourite and long time Spanish number 1 Roger Casal matches the visiting world stars. The favourites of the Mens Elite in the WRE middle distance can be followed via live tracking delivered by TracTrac from about 12:30 CET on Saturday the 14th of February and similarly the favourites of the Womens Elite in the long distance can be followed via live tracking from about 12:00 CET on Sunday the 15th. ****** Links Trofe Costa Blanca.
