A Parade of Gold medals at the
6th edition of MOC 2010
For the women it is a challenge among the orienteering world champions: Sweden line up its best to compete against the Swiss 15 times world champion Simone Niggli, and the Finn Minna Kauppi (5 world titles).
The Swedish beauties Helena Jansson, current world champion in the sprint, Linnea Gustavsson vice world champion in the Sprint, Kajsa Nilsson 2 world silver medals and winner of the PWT sprint in Palermo, Lena Eliasson winner of the Sprint PWT in Lonigo 2008, and the young and the talented Tove Alexandersson, Junior world champion 2009, will compete to take the yellow-blue flag to the highest flagpole of the podium.
Among the masters, at the Mediteranean Open Championship 2010 there will be 3 of the best orienteers ever: the Swedish Jörgen Mårtensson, the Finn Janne Salmi and the Swiss Thomas Bührer.
The news of the MOC 2010 is the introduction of the relay, whereas the individual classification will be done adding together the sprint and middle races.
